PROPERTIES OF OLEFIN

Olefin is a high-quality synthetic outdoor fabric known for its excellent colour fastness, strong fibre structure, and outstanding resistance to weather conditions. The fabric is made from polyolefin fibres that are inherently resistant to UV radiation, moisture, mould, and temperature fluctuations. As a result, olefin retains its colour, structure, and comfort over a long period — even with intensive outdoor use.

Olefin has a soft, textile-like feel, dries quickly after rain, and is very easy to maintain. Due to the manufacturing process, subtle variations in the weave or texture may occur. These are characteristic of the product and give each piece of furniture a natural, premium appearance.

DO NOT

• Do not clean with a pressure washer or steam cleaner.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach, chlorine, or solvents.
• Do not place hot objects or burning materials (such as cigarettes) on the olefin fabric.
• Do not cover the furniture for extended periods with a non-breathable cover, as this may trap moisture and cause mould.
• Do not leave wet cushions, blankets, or textiles on the fabric for prolonged periods, as this may cause discolouration or mould stains.

FIRST AID FOR ACCIDENTS

• Dust or loose dirt? Remove with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting.
• Surface dirt? Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
• Stubborn stains? Use a mild fabric cleaner and gently dab with a soft cloth. Avoid vigorous rubbing to prevent fibre damage.
• Damaged fabric? Do not attempt to repair it yourself; contact your dealer for a professional assessment or repair.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Regular cleaning
   Clean olefin periodically with lukewarm water and a soft brush or cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvent-based cleaners. Allow the fabric to dry thoroughly after cleaning, preferably in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
2. Protection against weather conditions
   Olefin is highly resistant to sun and rain, but prolonged exposure to extreme weather may reduce its lifespan. Use a breathable protective cover or store the furniture indoors during the winter months or extended periods of wet weather.
3. Prevent mould formation
   Although olefin itself is mould-resistant, dirt and prolonged moisture can still lead to mould growth. Allow the fabric to dry completely after rainfall and ensure adequate ventilation.
4. Product and weave characteristics
   Small differences in weave pattern, yarn tension, or texture may occur due to the manufacturing process. These do not affect the quality and emphasise the natural character of the material.
5. Frame maintenance
   Regularly inspect the underlying frame (aluminium or steel) for dirt, deposits, or signs of corrosion. Clean with water and a neutral soap solution and dry the frame thoroughly.
6. General safety

• Regularly check the furniture connections and the tension of the fabric.
  • Only use the furniture for its intended purpose.
  • Avoid overloading or placing heavy objects on the upholstered surfaces.

Following these care and usage instructions correctly is a condition of maintaining the warranty.
Damage resulting from improper use, aggressive cleaning, incorrect storage, or extreme weather conditions is not covered by the warranty.
