POLYESTER – Material & Care Instructions
Congratulations on the purchase of your product!
These instructions will help you enjoy your garden furniture with high-quality polyester fabrics for years to come.
PROPERTIES OF POLYESTER
Polyester is a strong, colourfast, and low-maintenance synthetic fabric specifically developed for outdoor furniture. The fabric is made from durable polyester fibres that offer excellent resistance to UV radiation, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and everyday use. Thanks to its dense weave, polyester retains its shape, provides excellent comfort, and is perfectly suited for both seating and backrest surfaces.
Our polyester fabrics are carefully applied to the garden furniture we manufacture. Small variations in weave pattern, yarn tension, or texture are a natural result of the production process and give each piece of furniture a unique, premium appearance.
DO NOT
- Do not clean with a pressure washer or steam cleaner.
- Never use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach, chlorine, or solvents.
- Do not place hot objects or burning materials (such as cigarettes) on the polyester fabric.
- Do not cover the furniture for extended periods with a non-breathable cover, as this may cause mould, moisture build-up, and discolouration.
- Do not leave wet cushions, towels, or other textiles on the polyester fabric for prolonged periods. This may cause moisture stains and mould growth.
FIRST AID FOR ACCIDENTS
- Dirt or dust? Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low suction setting.
- Surface dirt? Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution, rinse with clean water, and allow to dry completely.
- Stains or stubborn dirt? Use a soft cloth with a mild fabric cleaner. Always rub gently to avoid damaging the fibres.
- Damaged fabric? Do not attempt to repair it yourself; contact your dealer for professional advice or repair.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Regular cleaning
Clean the polyester regularly with lukewarm water and a soft brush or cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents. Always allow the material to air dry thoroughly, preferably in the shade. - Protection against weather conditions
Although polyester is highly resistant to various weather conditions, prolonged exposure to sun and rain may eventually cause wear and fading. Whenever possible, use a breathable protective cover or store the furniture indoors during the winter months or periods of extreme wet weather. - Prevent mould formation
Polyester dries quickly, but prolonged moisture or standing water should be avoided. Ensure adequate ventilation and allow the material to dry completely after rainfall. - Production and weave characteristics
Small variations in weave direction, tension, or texture are normal and emphasise the premium quality of the material. These characteristics do not affect its quality or durability. - Frame maintenance
Regularly inspect and clean the underlying frame (aluminium or steel) with water and a neutral soap solution. Dry the frame thoroughly and avoid damaging the protective coating. - General safety
• Regularly check the furniture connections and any tension in the fabric.
• Only use the furniture for its intended purpose.
• Avoid overloading or placing heavy objects on the polyester fabric.

Following these care and usage instructions correctly is essential to maintain the warranty.
